EIT RawMaterials is a networking organization committed to supporting Europe’s transition to a green, circular and digital economy. They engaged ACT-ON GERMANY to co-create a revolutionary Learning and Talent Placement Platform that supports upskilling, career mobility, and data-driven decision-making.

This cutting-edge project integrates SkyHive’s AI capabilities and Cornerstone Galaxy’s robust learning infrastructure to empower individuals, educators, and employers across Europe’s raw materials sector and beyond.

THE NEED...

EIT RawMaterials aims to become the world’s most trusted education hub for reskilling and upskilling talent, contributing to Europe’s green and digital transition. To achieve this, they needed a platform that:

• Unites learners, workers, employers, and educators into one ecosystem.
• Offers personalized, AI-driven learning and career pathways.
• Supports data-backed HR decisions and skill investments.
• Scales seamlessly to accommodate a broad and diverse user base.
• Enables real-time job matching and employer engagement.

OUR ANSWER...

We proposed a phased, agile implementation combining product strategy, DevOps delivery, and advanced analytics:

• Stream 1: Talent & Learning Implementation

• Set up Cornerstone Galaxy + SkyHive integration
• Enable adaptive learning, skills passports, branded UI/UX, and employer job boards
• Launch in three product increments: Set & Learn, Grow & Operate, Scale Up

• Stream 2: Skill-Based Analytics (Data Hub)

• Develop a custom analytics layer for skill investment insights
• Use AI-driven Skill-Cluster Cost/Value models
• Design and build scalable data architecture and dashboards using AWS/Snowflake

A full DevOps approach was adopted, using sprints, user stories, and quarterly PI planning to ensure continuous delivery and operational excellence.
